El jinete Jorge González ganó el G2 Copa Jackson el domingo con Free Mandate en soberbia conducción. Sin embargo, montará a Savitar en El Derby. @giorgi_28 explica el compromiso y también se refiere por primera vez al quiebre con Patricio y Juan Pablo Baeza tras adelantar en diciembre a #Vamosalahípica su monta para «El Máximo Desafío».
«Lo que hizo Free Mandate fue muy bueno, debutando en la pista y ganando a tan buenos caballos. Salieron a correr y vine tranquilo detrás de Gran Greco. Debo dar gracias a don Juan Cuneo y don Carlos Urbina, quien me tiene confianza plena. Cuando le pedí esta monta, le expliqué que tenía compromiso con Savitar. Ese caballo me costó varias montas, quedando casi en el aire. Savitar es un caballo que he ido educando y me tiene ilusionado».
Ante el quiebre con el corral del cual fue primera monta por años, González aclara: «No tengo mala relación con el team Baeza, aunque quizás Juan Pablo está molesto conmigo. Son cosas que pasan y en la vida uno tiene que aprender a ganar y a perder, tomando las cosas con mesura. Estaba montado en una de las caballerizas más grandes de Chile, pero llegué ahí por mi esfuerzo y profesionalismo. Hoy tengo varios potrillos buenos en otros corrales. La puerta está junta y no cerrada, no tenemos mala relación y aquí está Jorge Gonzalez.
